A Spanish radio show has alleged that the Brazilian star, his agent father and Barcelona's fierce rivals met in Zurich during the ceremony, as his contract talks drag on

Neymar held talks with Real Madrid while in Switzerland for the Ballon d'Or ceremony, according to Al primer toque. 

With the Brazilian yet to put pen to paper on a new contract with Barcelona after months of speculation, the radio program asserts that he and his father, who acts as the star's agent, met with members of the Madrid delegation in Zurich during the prize-giving. 

The Selecao captain, who finished third behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the running for the coveted award, is believed to be pushing for his renewal to be resolved as soon as possible. 

Madrid, meanwhile, have long been keen to take Neymar to the Santiago Bernabeu and have made no secret of their interest, and it appears they are trying to take advantage of the roadblock in renewal talks to poach the Brazilian.
