Barça have more players from the Academy in the first team than in the reserve

Luis Enrique Martínez & Gerard López

The Current situation of Barça B have slightly alterated the club's values. The alarming situation in the table (until last Saturday, when they won against Espanyol's reserve team by 1-0, they were in the relegation zone) provoked a wave of signings of new players and dismissals of players trained in La Masia. That way, it seems that the scale between the team's results and the academic project of the reserve has leaned towards the former.

If we take, like Carles Domenech did in the radio program LaTdp of last Wednesday, the starting line-ups with which played Luis Enrique Martínez (first team coach) and Gerard López (reserve team coach) of the latest league games, we can see the first team had 5 players coming from La Masia (last Saturfay against Malaga), whereas Barça B only had 4 (game against Espanyol B).
Aleix Vidal
Sergio Busquets
Iniesta
Messi
Munir
Samper
Tarín
Godswill
Maxi Rolón
If we draw a bigger picture, 12 players of the first team have, at some point in their career, been in the Masia, while only 10 of the reserve team have:
Piqué
Sergio Busquets
Iniesta
Messi
Rafinha
Bartra
Munir
Sandro
Sergi Roberto
Jordi Masip
Jordi Alba
Aleix Vidal
Samper
Robert Costa
Palencia
Tarín
Quintillà
Ros
Kaptoum
Suárez
Maxi Rolón
Godswill
