Luis Suárez to face a two-match ban for incidents after match vs Espanyol

The Competition Committee has announced a sanction of two matches for the incident that Luis Suárez starred after Barça - Espanyol Copa match. That way, the striker will fulfill match ban in the Copa and will miss the second leg against Espanyol at Cornella plus the quarterfinal match if the club qualifies.
Meanwhile, the two Espanyol players who were sent-off during the derby, Hernán Pérez and Diop have received a sanction of one game each. Thus they will miss second leg, next Wednesday at 9pm CET.
Moments after knowing the sanction, FC Barcelona issued a statement announcing that they will present an appeal arguing that Luis Suarez gave no offensive words attributed to him in the report of the match.
